Kirbys-Epic-Yarn-Wii

While I can’t understand or read Japanese, the universal message of this new trailer released by Nintendo of Japan is clear: Kirby is cute…sickingly so.

Kirby’s Epic Yarn has received much attention since being formally announced at E3 a few months ago.  While Kirby fans have been clamoring for a new game, many surprised fans found they’re favorite character had been changed into yarn.

This new approach is remininscent of Sony’s Little Big Planet with texture fabric realistic graphics.  Kirby, while now made of yarn, ..read the full article

spider-man-shattered-dimensions-600x337 “Look Out…Here Come the Spider-Men!”  The newly released trailer for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is awesome!  What especially impresses is the different styles in art and gameplay shown for the four displayed playable characters.  It looks to be a promising return to the days of pre-movie Spider-Man Game webslinging fun.   The player will be able to control four versions of Spider-Man, spanning the Amazing, Noir, 2099, and Ultimate universes.  Each character has different moves, abilities, art-style and personality.  Because of the variety and ..read the full article

telltale teaser

Telltale Games have released a teaser video today promoting a new game, and it hints at some interesting things. The game reveal will be coming next week, but there are a few clues as to what it might be.

First, there’s the silhouettes- Tycho from Penny Arcade, Max from Sam & Max, the Heavy from Team Fortress 2, and Strongbad from Homestar Runner. An eclectic mix, but anything with the Heavy and Max gets a thumbs up from me.

There’s also the ..read the full article

If you haven’t seen the new Metroid: Other M TV Spot, then what are you waiting for? It seriously is one of the most awesome TV Spots for a game I’ve seen in a while. The trailer is more than a little reminiscent of Halo 3 and Gears of War Trailers, with a dismal, slow-motion backdrop overlaid with narration and sad music. Just because the trailer’s style isn’t new, however, doesn’t mean it isn’t amazing. If you weren’t excited for ..read the full article

cod black ops multi

Activision and Treyarch have today released a showreel of multiplayer footage from Call of Duty: Black Ops, which shows off just a few of the new weapons available in the game, including a brilliant-looking RC car bomb.

The footage looks similar to the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2, but with the success of that game’s multiplayer you can hardly blame them. It looks just as engaging and exciting as before, and the cool-looking new weapons like the RC car and the ..read the full article

If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of people waiting with baited breath for more Fable news, then you’re in luck- Lionhead just put out the opening cinematic for Fable III, over two months ahead of the game’s release.

I can’t imagine that there’s anything spoiler-worthy in the cinematic, as it tells us absolutely nothing that should pertain to the game’s story. The cinematic features a chicken, escaping from a coop and running around, all while trying to survive. The ..read the full article

When it comes to video game trailers, live action seems to be the shoulder pad trend of the 2000′s. Skate does them, Halo does them, and now Medal of Honor does too.  However, this one is pure awesome sauce… Featuring a Tier 1 operator in a serious gunfight, as well as a nice mix of previously unseen gameplay, the new trailer is really enjoyable to watch and I found myself thinking “why the fuck aren’t they making movies and not ..read the full article
