The combination of EA Games and BioWare has Mass Effect 2 reaching two million sales worldwide since its release this past Tuesday. BioWare has just announced their plans for the first two DLC additions to Mass Effect 2, and both will be accessible free to those who buy the game new via a new platform the company is calling “The Cerberus Network (TCN).”

BioWare releases nine new Mass Effect in-game screens to hold your interest until the game releases just over a month from now on January 26, 2010.

Today is a great day for Mass Effect 2 news- first with the massive, packed collector’s being announced, and now, with 90 seconds of brand-new footage that signals the coming of a full trailer for the game. The original standard release box art (shown above left) for BioWare’s Mass Effect 2 game revealed back in July has changed. The new art (shown above right) is what BioWare is calling the”final” box art for the highly anticipated sequel. Maybe the old one showed off a little more female crotch than EA felt parents would be comfortable with? Who knows.

The team at BioWare released a few new Mass Effect 2 screens for us to chew on over the weekend. How nice of them.

Apparently Microsoft hands out “Microsoft Expert Zone” quizzes to retailers so that they can be better informed on the products that they’re selling. A recent quiz contained details on Mass Effect 2 DLC content, and as luck would have it, those details made their way to the internet.
