Ever wonder what it would be like to terrorize the streets of Liberty City from a first-person perspective?  Wonder no longer.  Thanks to a mod created for the PC version, you can experience it yourself.

Gearbox Software has officially announced the “Game of the Year Edition” of Borderlands via Twitter, confirming the re-release for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 12.

The package will include all four DLC add-ons, along with a helpful foldout map of the game’s territories. The GOTY Edition will be priced at $60 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $50 for PC.

Two Swedish game retailers, Webhallen and the localised version of ‘GAME’, have listed Far Cry 3 for release in “2010″.

The listing on GAME’s website simply notes: “Rumor says that this time the game will be played out in Africa but with an even larger world and with a completely updated Dunia engine.

“More information will follow closer to launch.”

“Camelot…Camelot…Camelot! It’s only a model.” Team Fortress 2 pays homage to Monty Python with it’s own rendition of “Knights of the Round Table” from geek classic “The Holy Grail”.

Not coincidently, earlier this week Team Fortress players were treated to a new Python inspired weapon- the Holy Hand Grenade.  One has to Wonder what comes next…The Knights who say “Ni”?

Bohemia Interactive have announced today that their “British Armed Forces” content pack for ARMA 2 has been released, and is available for download.

The DLC adds “a new campaign, numerous single missions and a brand new faction and environment,” and of course letting you play as the finest army in the entire world. No, not Al-Qaeda, that’s in Medal of Honor. It’s the British Army, of course.

Co-op is obviously a big deal in Halo: Reach, as it’s more squad- based than previous Halo titles. It’s not always easy to find a buddy that’s ready to play with you, so Bungie is adding Live matchmaking to the mix. You’ll be able to join up with complete strangers to play through the campaign. Treyarch have already announced dedicated servers for Call of Duty: Black Ops, but there’s another pleasant surprise for PC gamers- the game will be getting a developer console and the ability to mod the game.

In a post in the official forums by a developer, Treyarch have confirmed that they “plan to open the game up for modding sometime post-launch.”

I’ve now decided that Team Fortress 2 fan art is the best fan art. Sure, there’s a lot of great stuff out there for a lot of other games, but I don’t think any other title consistently produces such quality artwork. In order to make Halo: Reach available to reviewers, Microsoft recently placed a review copy on their servers. Reviewers can download the game for $1,250. However, by placing the game on their servers, Microsoft also opened up the game to be hacked and downloaded. The download was supposed to require a special code, provided by Microsoft.   However, hackers were able to find their way around that, and download the game at will. If you haven’t seen the new Metroid: Other M TV Spot, then what are you waiting for? It seriously is one of the most awesome TV Spots for a game I’ve seen in a while. I find it a little odd that Team Fortress 2, a game with already excellent character design, inspires so much fan art. Why not take an ugly game and make it look awesome?
