Recently, there was a Bad Company 2 Beta on the PlayStation 3. If you missed it, or only have an Xbox or PC, you might be issuing a series of expletives. Well, that stream may now cease, as the official Battlefield blog has confirmed that there will be, at some point between now and March the second, a demo.
I suspect this demo will be both single and multiplayer, since the demo for Bad Company 1 had both of these features. ..read the full article

John Riccitiello, CEO of EA, confirmed that the DICE first-person shooter titled Mirror’s Edge is in development and will be coming back for seconds. EA announced a new “modern day” direction for their Medal of Honor franchise today. The upcoming sequel, simply titled “Modern W…whoops, Medal of Honor” will be set in a war-torn Afghanistan. In an interesting move, EA LA will focus on the single player aspect, while EA DICE will develop the multiplayer portion of the game.
Considering the success of Activision’s Modern Warfare series, this move to the modern day setting shouldn’t surprise anyone. That said, I like the look of the ..read the full article
I took the photo above when I was at Best Buy a few days ago. At the time, I wasn’t really sure what I may use it for, but the sheer fact that the price of Mirror’s Edge had dropped so low was shocking to me. To give you some perspective, you could pick up Mirror’s Edge for the same amount you’d pay to take home Sonic Unleashed. Alright, now for the real reason for this post.

The PC Beta for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has been delayed until early next year, because the PS3 beta is doing so well. Seems like a silly statement, but it’s thanks to the fact that the Bad Company 2 developers are actually thinking ahead instead of just rushing into things. Producer Gordon Van Dyke has also taken the liberty of posting the PC exclusive elements of the game, which can be seen below.

You might recall that many PC fans of Call of Duty (specifically Modern Warfare) got very upset when Infinity Ward announced that they were not going to support dedicated servers for Modern Warfare 2.
