Let’s go ahead and address the elephant in the game- Bayonetta’s eponymous Bayonetta is meant to be sexy. Reading the developer blogs and looking at the concept art, it’s clear that Platinum Games knew exactly what they were doing by creating a femme fatale with long legs and nude attacks, and they use it to their advantage.
Now, whether or not you consider Bayonetta to be nothing more than a portrayal of an oversexualized female meant to excite ..read the full article

Allow me to begin this review by addressing two crucial audiences. The first would be the open minded gamer that isn’t out to crucify a game because it borrows successful elements from titles that have come before it. If you fall into this category, simply skip the rest of this paragraph and move on to the next. You could perhaps use the time you saved at the end to make yourself a nice ham and cheese ..read the full article

That got me to thinking: what else might change in the U.S. release? Might we see a repeat of Indigo Prophecy? Might stateside gamers have to live down the irony of a game whose cover was sexier than its content?
According to Sony, the answer is a resounding no; and believe it or not, that goes ..read the full article
