Kids Don’t Need Video Game Hot Coffee, 2009 Search Data Proves Internet Was Made To Help Them Find Porn

Kids Search for the Darndest Things

As we are now well into the holiday season, and many of us prepare to celebrate Christmas and New Years with family and friends, a recent review of the top 100 most popular searches on the internet in 2009 by kids and teenagers reveals that while many of them ask Santa to make a PSP or Nintendo Wii magically appear beneath their tree, what they’d really prefer is a sex tape of the jolly fat man slipping Mrs. Claus his north pole. And by north pole I mean his candy cane. And by candy cane I mean his penis.

While Ripten blogs about games (#20 on the list of top 100 most popular searches by kids and teens in 2009) like Halo (#74 on the list) and Pokemon (#64), keywords such as sex and porn rank in at #4 and #5 respectively. What’s even more shocking is that when you eliminate teenagers from the mix and only focus in on the searches made by the 7 and under demographic, the word porn comes up 4th, ahead of things like games (#9) and Lego (#25) on the list.

When comparing teen and preteen males to females, Youtube, Google, and Facebook, ranked #1, #2, and #3 respectively on both lists, however the overall male search list included 13% adult based topics compared to the 2% found on females, proving that boys have been slightly more naughty than nice.

Other random search topics from the top 100 overall included the phrase “You’re a jerk” at #87, the name Fred at #19, Lady Gaga at #24, and the words “Watcha Say” at $76, which brings me to the video below that I’ll be leaving you all with as a sign off.

Happy Holidays everyone, and remember, kids no longer need to lock themselves in the bathroom to go blind.
