The latest Video Game Awards mystery game teaser video features what one can only assume is a police officer tossing his badge off the top of a building in a Hong Kong setting. The badge itself reads “Hong Kong Police” and the video narrative paints a picture of a cop sacrificing his life as a cop and a person to go undercover.

Ubisoft has just confirmed a new Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands video game. The next installment of the popular action-adventure franchise will be available on both consoles and handhelds in May of 2010 — just in time for the Disney movie adaptation release starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton.

The PC Beta for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has been delayed until early next year, because the PS3 beta is doing so well. Seems like a silly statement, but it’s thanks to the fact that the Bad Company 2 developers are actually thinking ahead instead of just rushing into things. Producer Gordon Van Dyke has also taken the liberty of posting the PC exclusive elements of the game, which can be seen below.

Splinter Cell: Conviction, the installment where Sam Fisher goes full-on hobo, won’t be released until February 23rd of next year, but we’re starting to get some concrete details.
It looks as if the game will get some sort of co-op gameplay. The latest issue of PC Zone magazine states that the next issue will have a “hands-on, co-op reveal and a brand new mode” regarding Splinter Cell: Conviction.
